UpSet plots are useful for showing the intersection between sets, and are a practical alternative to Venn diagrams.

Multi-dimensional Venn diagram
For this SWD Challenge I decided to show the number of transactions for different line of business combinations for a travel agency.
Think of an UpSet plot as a multi-dimensional Venn diagram, but without the problems caused by multiple overlap combinations.
An UpSet plot will also visually represent the size of each intersection using bar charts. Unlike Venn diagrams, which don’t give a visual representation of scale.
